Child Care Provider- Child Care Center (Part-Time)

Job Summary:

• Provides a safe loving environment for children that fosters positive self-concepts.

• Provides day-to-day communication to parents co-workers and supervisors.

• Ensures childrens safety.

• Demonstrates an understanding of diversity. Demonstrates integrity compassion accountability respect and excellence (I CARE values).

• Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues visitors and patients.

• Performs miscellaneous duties not expressly described herein.

Reports: Director/Child Care Center (job code (JC): 014301) or Child Care Assistant Director (JC: 669401)

Supervises: None

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g. certificate of high school equivalency) at hire. Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) Introductory Child Care (45-hour training course) completion (including passed competency examination) within ninety (90) days post-hire.

Preferred Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development.

Required Experience:

• One (1) year of job-related experience

Preferred Experience:

• Three (3) years of job-related experience.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

Preferred: Child Development Associate (CDA) issued by the FL Department of Children and Families
