HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT
Job Summary:
Provides a safe loving environment for children that fosters positive self-concepts.
Provides day-to-day communication to parents co-workers and supervisors.
Ensures childrens safety.
Demonstrates an understanding of diversity. Demonstrates integrity compassion accountability respect and excellence (I CARE values).
Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues visitors and patients.
Performs miscellaneous duties not expressly described herein.
Reports: Director/Child Care Center (job code (JC): 014301) or Child Care Assistant Director (JC: 669401)
Supervises: None
WHAT YOULL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (e.g. certificate of high school equivalency) at hire. Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) Introductory Child Care (45-hour training course) completion (including passed competency examination) within ninety (90) days post-hire.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development.
Required Experience:
- One (1) year of job-related experience
Preferred Experience:
- Three (3) years of job-related experience.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
Preferred: Child Development Associate (CDA) issued by the FL Department of Children and Families
