Provide coordination and technical support for organizational learning incident classification and investigation OE reporting and data analytics. Ensure compliance with Chevron Operational Excellence (OE) standards and regulatory requirements and deliver actionable insights through data analysis visualization and reporting. Drive continuous improvement by leveraging analytics to monitor OEMS performance identify trends and support decision-making.
  • Coordinate incident classification activities in alignment with OE and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage workflows for incident reporting review and classification.

  • Ensure timely accurate and complete processing of incident reporting classification investigation and review in the system of record (QA/QC of Cority entries).

  • Support field HSE and operations personnel with event documentation and entry to achieve consistent incident classification and severity levels.

  • Support organizational learning programs by capturing lessons learned from incidents and integrating them into OE systems.

  • Support facilitation of incident investigations using Chevron-approved learning methodologies.

  • Support incident learning reviews (ILF) for major events.

  • Support development of incident alerts and systemic actions.

  • Coordinate with functional teams to ensure timely implementation and verification of systemic corrective actions.

  • Maintain and enhance learning repositories and knowledge-sharing platforms (i.e. SharePoint).

  • Support audits and assurance activities by providing investigation and learning documentation and compliance evidence.

  • Support development and implementation of standards guidelines and training material for incident reporting classification and learning processes.

  • Provide guidance and training on classification standards and learning tools.

  • Program management for investigation organizational learning and HOP.

  • Actively participate in Learning and Safety Communities of Practice (CoP) to share best practices.

  • Analyze learning data and provide a monthly/quarterly learning insights report at the Enterprise Segment Business Line or Asset.

  • Ensure data quality of OEMS performance dashboards and reporting tools to track compliance and operational metrics.

  • Analyze OEMS data to identify trends gaps and opportunities for improvement.

  • Integrate advanced analytics techniques to enhance OEMS performance monitoring and predictive capabilities.

  • Collaborate with functional teams to ensure accurate data collection and integrity in OEMS systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in occupational safety & health engineering or relevant field

  • 35 years of experience in incident investigation and organizational learning within oil & gas operations including application of Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) principles and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies.

  • Knowledge of incident reporting systems.

  • Experience in data analytics and performance reporting.

  • Strong analytical organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements.

  • Ability to facilitate root cause analysis and lessons learned sessions.

  • Proficiency in digital tools for learning and reporting (e.g. PowerBI OE dashboards SharePoint Learning Management System (LMS) platforms).

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders effectively.

  • Experience in providing training coaching and mentoring for field teams involved in investigations and learning activities.
