TransPerfect Games is looking for freelance novice game testers to join us to provide client support on challenging test problems in a dynamic and exciting environment. You will be testing the next big hit game from small independent development teams all the way to AAA game titles from industry heavyweights!
About the Role
Were looking for an experienced Senior Functional QA Tester who goes beyond simply executing test cases. This is a hands-on high-impact role where you will design coordinate and lead testing efforts for our projects. Youll be the bridge between QA and Development owning key areas of the product mentoring other testers and ensuring our games deliver the best possible experience to players.
Important information:
This position is on a mandate contract.
As a mandatory requirement you must have the right to work in Warsaw. You will be required to provide supporting documentation. You must be a Polish citizen an EU member citizen a permanent resident or have a relevant work permit/ Visa in order to be considered for this position.
This is an onsite position. You are required to work onsite during core business hours (Mon Fri 8 hours per day) at our office in Warsaw. So you shall be based in the Warsaw area or you are within commuting distance to our office.
What Youll Do
Design and create detailed test plans and casesnot just execute them.
Take ownership of specific features or areas within the project.
Coordinate testing efforts across multiple testers.
Collaborate directly with the development team to resolve issues quickly.
Execute functional black box and grey box testing.
Document and track bugs using tools such as JIRA ADO or Bugzilla.
Provide feedback on gameplay fun factor balance and user experience.
Identify gaps in test coverage and proactively close them.
Perform setup and configuration tasks for PC consoles or mobile devices.
Suggest process improvements to enhance test efficiency and product quality.
Job requirements
What Were Looking For
At least 1 year of experience in the same field
Strong background in test design and ownership of test areas.
Experience in coordinating work between testers.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Passion for games testing and technology.
Sharp attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Track record of meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality.
Bonus Points If You Have:
Game testing experience including Certification or Lot Check testing.
Familiarity with security testing performance/stress testing or accessibility testing.
Experience using debugging tools like Fiddler NetMon etc.
Experience shipping software or games.
Certifications in QA game testing design or engineering.
