Job Summary
Job Title: Digital Merchandising Specialist (eCommerce)
Location: Bolingbrook IL
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)
Compensation:
Pay Rate: $26.00/hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Digital Merchandising Specialist to support eCommerce operations by managing product content ensuring brand consistency and optimizing the online customer experience. This role will collaborate closely with internal teams and external brand partners to maintain accurate and engaging product listings.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with category managers and brand teams to gather and manage product content (copy images videos attributes and technical specifications)
Ensure products are properly categorized according to current taxonomy standards
Maintain and apply content style guidelines for consistency across the website
Optimize product content using SEO best practices including meta descriptions and keywords
Utilize eCommerce platforms (including Mirakl) to create update and manage product listings
Identify and resolve customer-facing issues related to product content on the website
Build strong cross-functional relationships to support product launches and updates
Ensure adherence to product launch timelines and go-live schedules
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business or related field
13 years of eCommerce or digital merchandising experience preferred
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
Experience with web platforms or data/content management systems preferred
Familiarity with Mirakl platform is a plus

Strong attention to detail especially in writing editing and content accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Work Environment:
Hybrid or onsite corporate environment (based in Bolingbrook IL)
Fast-paced eCommerce and retail setting
