Job Summary

Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Join a dedicated team in Edmond Oklahoma as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in General Medicine. This role involves providing essential healthcare services to our nations Veterans through Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. Ideal candidates will work either in a VES facility or their own office ensuring supportive care within a vibrant community.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
Perform primarily interview-based evaluations including physical assessments like range of motion and muscle strength testing.
Complete required documentation and reports for each examination.
Provide services on a PRN basis with options for half or full days.
Ensure no prescribing or treatment; focus on assessment and evaluation.
Maintain compliance with all necessary follow-up administrative work.

Qualifications:

Proficient in METs testing diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
Experience in family medicine internal medicine orthopedic surgery or general medicine.
Must possess a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
AANP certification is required.
Ability to complete DMA training for certification.

License and Certification Requirements:

Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Oklahoma.
AANP certification.
Current home address is mandatory for presentation.
