Werelooking for a Microsoft Fabric Platform Administrator to help manage and support KiwiRails enterprise data and analytics platform.
In this role you will oversee the governance security and day-to-day operation of Microsoft Fabric ensuring data analytics and reporting services run efficiently securely and in line with enterprise closely with data engineers analysts cybersecurity teams and business stakeholders to support a scalable and well-governed analytics environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and optimise Microsoft Fabric capacity performance and usage
- Implement governance standards for workspaces datasets and lifecycle management
- Administer user access roles and security controls
- Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot data and analytics workloads
- Manage data gateways integrations and external data connections
- Support teams with best practices onboarding and platform guidance
- Help automate platform management using PowerShell APIs or similar tools
What you will bring
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric Power BI Azure Data services or similar platforms
- Knowledge of data governance security and compliance practices
- Familiarity with Azure AD / Entra ID identity management
- Understanding of data engineering and analytics environments
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
