As part of our Procurement team youll take ownership of supplier relationships drive purchasing decisions and ensure we keep an attractive product selection while helping our suppliers.
What youll be doing
- Source products and negotiatewith dozens of supplierswith the aimto improveour selection.
- Partner with suppliers to strengthen collaborations scale our impact and continuously improve our service.
- Make smart purchasing and pricing decisions driven by data and our in-house tools.
- Collaborate closelywith other stakeholders such as Marketing or our external warehouse partner.
- Contribute to the continuous development of our tools and processes.
What we are looking for
- Up to 2 years of working experiencefromprocurementsalesaccountmanagementor asimilarcommercialtype ofrole:You carrystrong interest in the grocery and FMCGindustry.Ideallyyou are passionate aboutreducingfood waste.
- Commercial drive:youbring enthusiasm for building strongsupplierrelationships.You are a problem solver with the ability toidentifyand tackle risks and opportunities.
- Data-driven mindset:youenjoy working with data turning insights into smart purchasing and pricing decisions and have strong spreadsheet capabilities.
- Negotiation skills:sealthe deal while building andmaintaininglong-term supplier partnerships.
- Collaboration skills:strongteam player who enjoys working cross-functionally.
- Digital skills:knowyour way around Microsoft Excel.
- Education:highereducation degree in a technical commercial orsimilar field(other relevant qualifications also considered).
- Language skills:preferably fluent in Dutch with strong written and spoken English skills (our internal company language).
