We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director Delivery Management
in this role you will:
- Prepare detailed estimates for projects for review and approval by business counterparts.
- Create effective portfolio and project plans to maximize benefits and minimize the risk.
- Drive execution against developed plans within constraints considering the delivery approach key milestones and dependencies requirements and scope effort and resources budgets and quality in line with HSBC Group change methodologies.
- Establish effective project controls and procedures and quality assurance processes.
- Build positive stakeholder relationships providing regular updates to resolve high-priority issues affecting the project.
- Set the pace and operating rhythm of projects in line with delivery approach driving a culture of high achievement maintaining pace by identifying and removing barriers to project success.
- Manage monitor and report progress issues dependencies risks to Programme Manager and/or steering committees and make recommendations to influence decision-making to maintain progress towards delivery targets.
- Provide management to maintain a focus on how projects align to wider programme objectives where appropriate and to the change portfolio across HSBC.
- Drive the adoption of HSBC project standards working in alignment with HSBC project methodology at all times.
To be successful you will :
- Minimum of 5 years IT project management experience delivering on Oracle Fusion ERP technology including Financial Procurement and Expenses modules.
- Strong track record of exceptional delivery using both experience of Agile and Waterfall methodologies on time and to budget from requirements definition through to production.
- Ability to collaborate across different functions multiple geographic locations and time zones.
- Expert in stakeholder management demonstrated by the ability to build strong working relationships with technology change delivery and senior executive stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to provide clear and concise written and verbal delivery updates to stakeholders.
- Experience in leading and coaching teams of junior project managers by creating a positive working environment.
- Experience of Clarity and Open Workbench working knowledge and practical experience of Jira and Confluence
- Professional certifications in Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
