Your Role
Were looking for a passionate Migrant Settlement Worker to support humanitarian entrants and newly arrived migrants as they build confident independent lives in Australia. Through the Settlement Engagement and Transition Support (SETS) program youll empower individuals and families to navigate services access employment opportunities and strengthen their connection to is a dynamic role where no two days are the same - from supporting clients through casework running community programs partnering with local organisations and helping community leaders grow and thrive.
Your Responsibility
Support newly arrived migrants through casework settlement support and practical guidance
Deliver group workshops and community programs that build life skills and confidence
Connect clients with employment education and mainstream services
Partner with community organisations employers and local leaders
Help strengthen migrant communities through capacity building and leadership support
You Will Need
Passion for supporting migrant and refugee communities
Experience in community services settlement support or similar
Strong relationship-building and cross-cultural communication skills
A proactive community-focused approach
