About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a growing team based in Colorado Springs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering across a variety of project types including laboratories healthcare facilities manufacturing educational institutions and commercial buildings.
In this role you will be responsible for managing projects from conceptual design through construction administration and post-occupancy. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and in compliance with all applicable standards.

In this role you will be responsible for managing projects from conceptual design through construction administration and post-occupancy. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and in compliance with all applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead electrical design from concept through completion including construction administration and post-occupancy support
Ensure designs meet applicable codes standards and established engineering practices
Stay up to date with industry codes technologies and best practices
Conduct site visits for data collection system evaluation and project assessment
Design and develop projects within a BIM environment
Execute engineering tasks in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards
Review and provide feedback on junior team members work identifying training and development opportunities
Mentor and guide junior engineers to support their professional growth
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver projects

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within a consulting or design-build environment
Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
Strong ability to work independently and develop project approaches
Excellent verbal written and graphical communication skills
Proven project management and problem-solving abilities
Strong understanding of building electrical and energy codes
Familiarity with NFPA and other relevant industry standards
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to mentor junior staff
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Revit SKM PTW or similar tools
