About the Role:

We are seeking a driven and experienced Associate Attorney to join our team in a full-time on-site capacity in Newark NJ.

In this role you will take ownership of a diverse caseload and work closely with senior attorneys on high-impact litigation matters. You will play a key role in shaping case strategy engaging directly with clients and representing them in complex legal proceedings. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level associate looking to deepen their litigation experience while gaining meaningful courtroom exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and independently handle a caseload involving complex casualty product liability construction defect New York Labor Law and general liability matters
Conduct detailed case analysis and develop litigation strategies
Draft pleadings motions briefs and other legal documents
Represent clients in depositions hearings negotiations and trial proceedings
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective case management and client service
Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and strategic counsel

Qualifications:

4 7 years of experience as an Associate Attorney with a focus on defending bodily injury and property damage claims
Admission to practice law in both New York and New Jersey is required
Proven ability to independently manage cases from inception through resolution
Hands-on experience with depositions motion practice and trial participation
Strong legal research and analytical skills with the ability to draft high-quality legal briefs
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team
