Job Title: Software Engineer AI-Driven Internal Tooling (Full Stack)
Location: Raleigh NC 3 days in office
Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Role Overview
Were hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to help build AI-powered internal tools that improve efficiency across the organization. This role is heavily focused on execution and delivery leveraging modern agentic and AI-assisted development tools rather than traditional hand-written coding alone.
Youll be part of one of three engineering teams being built in parallel (U.S. UK and international) all focused on delivering internal tooling and infrastructure. Each team will have leadership and business analysts in place-this role is primarily heads-down development turning defined problems into working solutions using AI-first workflows.

Day in the Life
Work closely with your team lead and Product/BA partners to execute on clearly defined internal use cases.
Build and enhance internal tools designed to make engineering and business teams more efficient using AI.
Spend much of your time in GitHub using GitHub Copilot and other agentic tools to accelerate development.
Use AI-driven development workflows to generate refine and maintain code-while still being capable of writing and debugging code manually when needed.
Collaborate across multiple global teams contributing to shared internal platforms and tooling.
Required Experience (Must-Haves)
2 5 years of professional software development experience.
Full-stack engineering background with:
At least one client-side framework (Angular preferred but flexible)
At least one server-side language (.NET/C# preferred but flexible)
o Strong hands-on experience with AI assisted development tools such as Claude CoPilot etc.
Experience may come from personal experimental or non-corporate projects-corporate production use is not required.
o Practical experience using AI-assisted and agentic development tools including:
Claude Code
GitHub Copilot
Codex
Gemini or similar tools
o Ability to clearly articulate:
How youve used these tools in real development workflows
The pros and cons of different agentic tools
When AI accelerates development vs. when traditional coding is still necessary
Preferred / Nice to Have
o .NET and Angular experience
o Experience building internal tools platforms or developer productivity solutions
o Comfort working in distributed or global engineering teams
o Exposure to modern DevOps or CI/CD workflows in GitHub
