Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Purcellville VA 20132
Duration: 17 Weeks (Contract)
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:30 AM 3:00 PM
Hours: 7.5 hours/day 38 hours/week
Pay Rate: $57/hour Weekly: $2166
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality speech and language services within an elementary school setting. This role focuses on supporting students in achieving effective communication skills and academic success.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate diagnose and treat speech language voice and fluency disorders
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
Provide therapy in both individual and group settings
Collaborate with teachers parents and school staff to support student progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on student needs
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal state and district regulations
Qualifications
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Virginia SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
CCC-SLP preferred
Previous school-based experience is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Knowledge of IEP processes and special education regulations
