MidState Medical Center seeks a full-time Hospitalist Physician to provide internal medicine services to adult patients admitted to the hospital; attend to medical needs of patients admit patients to the hospital for care plan and implement patient treatment programs and participate in rounds. Work closely and collaboratively with referring physicians from the community to assure effective communication to optimize patient care; develop modify and maintain the highest quality hand off systems between hospital medicine service and others involved in the care of the patient to assure a complete transfer of patient information in a manner combining written electronic and verbal communication; and actively participate in and help develop new programs patient care activities systems of care and other activities. Will work at MidState Medical Center 435 Lewis Avenue Meriden CT 06451. May also be assigned Hospitalist shifts at The Hospital of Central Connecticut 100 Grand Street New Britain CT 06052 based on patient and staffing needs.
