Franciscan Health is endeavoring to expand the breadth and scope of its Fertility Education and Medical Management (FEMM) program across the system in order to improve access to and advancement womens healthcare.
An ideal candidate is a physician who has a strong focus on compassionate clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. The candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients and their families.
FEMM is a comprehensive womens health program that uses ovulation as a sign of health. FEMM firstly educates women about their reproductive health so they may make informed healthcare decisions throughout their partnership with the RHRI (Reproductive Health Research Institute) ongoing research informs the evidenced-based model for care offered through FEMM medical management program.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- The MM protocols provide diagnostic and treatment-based approach to a range of hormonal disorders and symptoms including: ovarian dysfunction PCOS thyroid imbalance insulin resistance endometriosis menopause infertility and symptoms of pain headaches depression anxiety fatigue weight gain hirsutism and acne.
- FEMM MM understands the central role of reproductive endocrinology in womens health. Using targeted hormonal testing imaging clinical history gynecological physical examination cycle charting and hormonal functional tests FEMMs standardized advances in reproductive endocrinology enable accurate diagnosis and treatment.
- Treatment plans diagnose the root cause of symptoms and help women recover healthy hormonal function. Depending on the diagnosis stage of condition and lifestyle treatment ranges from immunological and targeted pharmacological interventions along with significant emphasis on diet exercise and lifestyle changes.
- Program development will focus on designing a coordinated system-wide FEMM model that spans Franciscan Health regions and leverages collaboration with like-minded providers currently practicing within the Franciscan Physician Network.
- The Physician will need to work collaboratively with existing medical staff to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
- Ensure EMR charting and documentation are completed accurately and patient records are up-to-date.

Qualifications:
Doctorate - Required
Physician License (MD/DO) - Upon Hire Required and -
Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire Required
Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon Hire Required
