Location Profile:
Located in Wilder KY and founded in 1946 Andrews Laser Works specializes in the fabrication of complex assemblies from Inconel steel aluminum and titanium sheet with a core competency in aero engine brackets and components. Position Summary:
Level 2: Creating Ship Lists for the Shipping Department Coordinating data within customer portals Entering of all customer Purchase Orders. Scheduling pick ups and deliveries for all outgoing customer parts along with any incoming material and components from vendors. Other duties as assigned.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create Ship Lists for the Shipping department and assist them with questions about how to box them based on the customer orders.
- Enter all data from the ship lists into Andrews ERP and the Customer Portal to obtain the shipping paperwork.
- Check POs prior to shipping for shipment requirements.
- Gather all documents needed to ship parts making sure that everything is accurate.
- Entering Customer POs in our ERP system
- Maintaining accuracy is a must
- Updating customer web portals
- Updates include shipping information tracking numbers ASNs
- Scan Receiving packets into computer maintaining updated and organized files
- Reviewing shipments for accuracy before shipment is loaded on truck
- Reporting shipping amounts daily.
- Validate daily shipments before posting shipments.
- Schedule any incoming orders from vendors assisting with best way for shipping (ground overnight etc) for special circumstances
- Schedule all outgoing customer orders with shipping/trucking companies such as Fed Ex Express or special circumstances.
- Assist shipping with pulling parts from stock
- Assist shipping with boxing parts
- Assist with entering shipments in the Fed Ex or UPS system.

Level of Education:
- High School diploma or GED is expected. This will vary depending on job necessities.
