Job Summary:
Supervises and coordinates activities of clinic staff. Prepares work schedules and expedites workflow. Responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the office. Keeps the providers informed of both progress and potential problems. Responsible for the direction and evaluation of patient care delivery including new service lines. Is accountable for the RHC budget for the organization. Assists in the revenue cycle with POS collection responsible for KPIs put in place by controller or finance department.
Job Duties:
Responsible for interviewing hiring and firing of staff for the clinic.
Provides leadership and direction in accordance with organizational goals and objectives.
Provides for professional growth and development of patient care staff through identification of needs sponsoring training programs encouraging education (formal and continuing) efforts and evaluation of same.
Responsible for completion of regular performance evaluations for each staff member; conducts evaluations for new staff prior to completion of probationary period.
Manages employees develops staff and as appropriate utilizes the disciplinary process.
Monitors patient scheduling and referrals.
Responsible for safety and comfort of patients and the health and safety of staff.
Supports and maintains a culture of safety and quality.
Collaborates with ancillary support services to provide a safe clean and secure environment for patients staff and visitors.
Responsible for logging tracking and resolving patient complaints.
Ability to coordinate and direct the patient accounting function in order to consistently produce accurate bills which are paid in a timely manner.
Monitors activities continually with collection agencies insurance companies patients and physicians; recommends corrective action as appropriate.
Develops justifies and maintains a fiscal plan (budget) for the office. Monitors patient revenues expenses and operating expenses (salaries and capital expense items) and provides appropriate reports to the Administrator/Providers(s).
Responsible for health maintenance communication letters.
Monitors utilization of equipment and supplies; orders supplies as needed.
Effectively maintains all required records for the clinic; demonstrates good organizational skills.
Plans and conducts staff meetings.
Works with the medical staff to coordinate medical and nursing management of patient care.
Participates in performance improvement including utilization and promotion of familiarization with performance improvement standards and programs.
Assumes the role of patient advocate respecting guidelines found in the Patient Bill of Rights.
Assumes responsibility for own personal continuing education and developmental needs; attends meetings workshops to enrich personal knowledge growth and management skills.
Responsible for telehealth coordination and scheduling.
Demonstrates the ability to be flexible organized and function under stressful situations.
Fosters good public relations for the organization.
Responsible for creating and managing RHC budget
Responsible for providing phone and scheduling support to other reception staff.

- Additional languages preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge.
