A vacancy may arise for a WO/MAcr (Any Profession) to serve as Visits Officer at RAF Lossiemouth on Additional Duties Commitment (180) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS) with an initial proposed start date of being not before 01 August 2026 (or later subject to the position being vacated).

As the Visits Officer you will be responsible to Stn COS for the day-to-day running of the Visits Office coordinating all Stn visits and for the supervision of the Visits & Engagement Asst.

Acting as the appointed authority on behalf of the Stn Cdr to authorise all CAT 2 3 and 4 visits to RAF Lossiemouth.

The initial POC for all Visits to RAF Lossiemouth.

Oversight of all visits and events that take place at RAF Lossiemouth.

Requesting the nomination of a Project Officer (Proj O) for CAT 1 3 visits.

Liaison with the appointed ProjO advising and mentoring on the Visit Instruction (VI) process use of Real-Life-Support (RLE) including accommodation catering facilities MT and resource allocation.

Maintaining and building working relationships with key Stn stakeholders including contractors and lodger units maintaining information flow including liaison with Soft Facilities Management (SFM) and in particular Mess Management on a routine basis.

Liaison with the Stn Cdrs outer office on the organisation and delivery of VIP and high-profile visits.

Liaison with the Head of Community Engagement regarding Royal Ministerial and Local Government visits.

Liaison with Media & Comms regarding media requirements and opportunities.

Liaison with the Stn Bands and the Stn Heritage Centre regarding Stn Visits and support requirements.

Acting as the initial POC for personnel and external agencies who wish to visit RAF Lossiemouth.

Appointment of a specific ProjO for CAT 1 VIP and high-profile visits providing guidance and support the to the nominated ProjO throughout the visit process.

Briefing and advising the Stn Cdr on visits as required.

Ensuring that a VI is issued 2 weeks in advance of the visit circumstances permitting.

Coordinating UAS Summer Vacation Attachments to the Stn.

Operating in tandem with the ACLO and Air Cadet representatives to ensure that visits and camps are coordinated accordingly.
Coordinating Stn visits with the CCLO involving perspective recruitment candidates.

Updating the Stn Visits Register in conjunction with the Stn COS.

Maintaining records for all visits to RAF Lossiemouth with exception of routine agencies and contractors operating in support of Stn output; visits by family and friends; ac and pax movements through Ops.

Maintaining and updating visits on Stn planners attending individual planning meetings as required.

In conjunction with the OC GD the issue of Admin Order numbers and maintenance of register accordingly.

Co-ordinating a weekly visits meeting with Stn COS and Stn Cdrs PA. Providing feedback to the CoC as required.

Provide subject matter expert advice and guidance on Station visit policy to Project Officers as required.

Develop and maintain the Stations Visits SharePoint Page.

Assist and support the delivery of annual events within the Stn Calendar. These include but are not exhaustive

o The Annual Awards Evening
o The Annual Formal Reception
o RAF Lossiemouth Friends and Families Day
o The RAF Lossiemouth Christmas Fayre

Assist support/organise external visits in accordance with the Stn External Visits directive.

Collating information regarding provision of external visits and events.
