Job Summary
INVIGILATORS
Hours to be worked as agreed during exam sessions.
Paid on a timesheet basis at Grade 1 point 3 (12.85 per hour with 12.08% uplift 14.40 per hour)
Beechen Cliff are proud to have a team of Invigilators who are dedicated to ensuring every student receives the very best exam experience possible.
If you are:
- available for at least 15 hours per week from mid-May until the end of June every year and again during our mocks seasons of Nov Dec and Feb/March
- we are particularly looking for people that can work on Mondays amongst other days
- are of a cheerful flexible and easy-going disposition
- have good attention to detail
- and enjoy helping young people achieve their full potential
.then we would be very happy to hear from you. This role may suit an active retired person with excellent standards of literacy or a self-employed person.
Shifts begin at 8am and are mostly 3 hours long and some exam days end around 5pm breaks and lunches are unpaid.
Beechen Cliff School is part of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership which is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful applicant will need to undertake an enhanced disclosure via the Disclosure Barring Service.

The Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership (MNSP) was founded in 2010 following the hard federation between Norton Hill and Somervale Schools. Both secondary schools serve Midsomer Norton, Radstock and the surrounding villages.
