Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead our IT strategy and digital technology initiatives at Amazon. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technology transformation enterprise architecture AI development cybersecurity risk management IT operations and client engagement. As a key member of our leadership team you will drive innovation foster a culture of change and ensure successful delivery of technology projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT strategies to drive digital transformation and modernization
- Lead enterprise architecture and solution design efforts to align with business goals
- Oversee the development of AI and digital solutions to enhance business capabilities
- Manage cyber and information security risk to protect company assets
- Ensure efficient IT operations and service management practices
- Drive cultural change to support technology initiatives and innovation
- Lead programme management and project delivery to meet deadlines and objectives
- Manage financials and P&L for technology projects and initiatives
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and build strong relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role preferably as a CTO or similar
- Demonstrated expertise in IT strategy digital technology enterprise architecture and cybersecurity
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&L
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders
- Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are a plus
