DescriptionThe Regional Senior Financial Systems Support Analyst is responsible for delivering expert production support for Finance Systems Applications across Chubb Insurances Latin America operations. This role ensures the stability reliability and optimal performance of finance systems supporting business users and collaborating with IT and Finance teams to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
Finance Systems Production Support
Act as the primary point of contact for production support of Chubb Finance Systems Applications in Latin America.
Proactively monitor troubleshoot and resolve system incidents data issues and user queries with a focus on timely and effective resolution.
Perform root cause analysis and coordinate with IT vendors and business stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
Reconcile and validate information across operational and financial systems to ensure end-to-end data consistency.
Lead or participate in ticket prioritization meetings with Chubb IT teams ensuring critical issues are addressed promptly.
Manage and document system changes enhancements and patches in compliance with Chubbs change management policies.
Support month-end quarter-end and year-end financial close processes by ensuring system availability and data integrity.
Provide user training guidance and documentation for finance systems and related processes.
Participate in system upgrades testing and implementation projects as a regional subject matter expert (SME).
Ensure compliance with internal controls audit requirements and SOX regulations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of finance systems industry best practices and Chubbs business processes.
Finance Systems Projects
- Actively participate in regional projects for the implementation and enhancement of financial systems.
- Contribute to end-to-end finance systems project implementations including requirements gathering solution design IT development UAT testing deployment and post-deployment support.
- Where appropriate maintain project plans track action items issues and risks and escalate or resolve them promptly.
QualificationsQualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting Information Systems or a related field.
Minimum 5 years experience in financial systems support preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of finance systems such as Hyperion Cognos QlikSense Power BI Alteryx or similar ERP/EPM platforms.
Experience with Peoplesoft and PCW Tables is a plus.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Demonstrated experience supporting production environments and managing system incidents.
Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls is highly desirable.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
