Job Summary
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Clinical Staff Pharmacist for a short-term coverage assignment at a behavioral health facility in the Johnstown CO area. This role will support pharmacy operations medication verification dispensing and Pyxis management in collaboration with the facilitys pharmacy leadership.
Assignment Details:
Coverage Dates: April 29 May 5
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00am 4:00pm
On-call required after hours and weekends
Requirements:
Active Colorado Pharmacist License (in good standing)
Acute inpatient behavioral health experience required
Experience with HCS order entry preferred
Experience with Pyxis ES preferred (training available)
Responsibilities:
Order verification
Medication dispensing to units/Pyxis
Pyxis troubleshooting/support
Clinical decision support for medical staff
Additional Info:
35 days of training required prior to coverage
Dress code: Business casual
Credentialing Requirements:
Background check
Drug screen
TB test
HIPAA training
Code of Conduct attestation
