Job Summary
Position: General Accounting (Staff Accountant)
Full-time Assignment: 4/1/2026 - 10/30/2026
Location: Urbandale IA
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $24.30/HR Paid Weekly

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Processor to support accounting and financial operations. This role is responsible for billing payment application disbursements and account analysis while ensuring accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
This is an onsite role during training with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule (approximately 6 days onsite per month) once fully trained.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Process billing disbursements and payment applications accurately and efficiently.
- Research and resolve issues related to checks and payments.
- Analyze and maintain accounts and client records.
- Prepare and review accounting reports statements and variances.
- Perform trend and variance analysis for key accounts.
- Support administrative accounting functions and reporting processes.
- Respond professionally to internal and external email communications.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies SOX GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Assist with process improvements and documentation of procedures.
Systems & Tools Youll Use:
- Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced)
- Microsoft Access Database
- Internal Processing Systems
- Workflow Management Systems
What Were Looking For:
- Associates degree
- 13 years of experience in accounting billing or financial operations.
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Experience with billing payment processing or disbursements.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team environment.
