As the EHS Executive you will play a key role in implementing maintaining and continuously improving the companys environmental health and safety management systems across our facilities. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards while contributing to a safe and well-managed workplace for all employees.
Duties & Responsibility
- Implement and monitor environmental health and safety (EHS) policies and procedures in accordance with company and regulatory requirements (aligned to bizSAFE ISO 45001 ISO 14001 where applicable).
- Conduct regular EHS inspections audits risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Investigate safety incidents near misses and environmental issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate and facilitate emergency response planning drills and EHS awareness and training programs for employees.
- Maintain EHS permits reports records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. SCDF NEA MOM).
- Work closely with internal departments and external regulatory agencies to ensure adherence to EHS standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the implementation of safety improvement initiatives including Lean/Kaizen activities to enhance workplace safety culture and operational performance.
- Monitor workplace practices and provide guidance to employees and supervisors on EHS compliance and best practices.
We are seeking a team member that can identify with
the description below.
- Bachelors degree in environmental science Occupational Safety Engineering or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in EHS related roles with knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices.
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health (Level B) is preferred.
- Strong analytical organizational and administrative skills with proficiency in MS Office.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage employees across levels.
- Proactive mindset with strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident.
