Job Description
As a Security Guard - Floater in New York NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants visitors and staff by following site-specific procedures access control requirements and security-related protocols and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the commercial property including lobbies corridors stairwells parking areas loading and delivery areas and perimeter points documenting observations per post orders.
- Respond to incidents alarms and service requests in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with property management and/or local responders as needed.
- Monitor and report unusual activity maintenance concerns and potential policy violations completing clear written reports and maintaining accurate activity logs.
- Assist with traffic and pedestrian flow during peak periods and special activities providing directions and helping to maintain orderly movement within the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have a New York State Security Guard License.
- Be 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
