Job Summary

This is a handson generalist P&C role with a strong focus on endtoend Employment Relations. Youll be out and about across multiple sites and offices working sidebyside with managers to navigate people issues build capability and keep things moving forward. Youll own disciplinary and performance processes investigations and personal grievances keeping us aligned with policy and current employment law while keeping things human fair and pragmatic. When its time to deliver we switch on pull together and get it done and youll see the impact of your work in real time.

Lead ER matters end to end including disciplinary and performance processes investigations and personal grievances with confidence care and clear communication.
Coach and support managers to handle people matters well giving straightup riskaware advice on options and likely outcomes.
Implement maintain and continuously improve HR policies processes and employment agreements so theyre practical current and easy to work with.
Support core HR cycles like performance appraisals and salary reviews providing accurate timely information and insights.
Promote a strong safety quality and people culture rolemodelling our values and helping leaders drive engagement and performance without big egos or blame.
Spot opportunities to simplify and improve how we do HR and ER and get involved in peoplerelated projects that push things forward.

Solid Employment Relations (ER) experience youre comfortable owning disciplinary and performance processes investigations and personal grievances from start to finish.
At least 2 years experience in a generalist HR/P&C Advisor role (or similar).
Strong working knowledge of current employment legislation and how to apply it in the real world not just on paper.
Clear confident communication and relationshipbuilding skills with the ability to influence and coach managers at different levels.
Great organisation time management and attention to detail you can juggle competing demands without dropping the ball.
A relevant tertiary qualification in HR or similar (advantageous) and a full Class 1 drivers licence.
Youre the kind of person who is curious calm under pressure and happy to ask questions push back where needed and find better ways of doing things. High expectations low ego.
