Join theOperational Resilienceteam within thePrudential Policy Directorateof theFinancial Stability Group. TheOperational Resilienceteamisresponsible fordeveloping policiesthat promote a sound and efficient financial system through promoting individual and system levelresilience.The core roles of the team relate to policy requirements for regulated entities relating to operational matters including governance risk management operational resilience and branch operations.
AsaSeniorAdvisoryou willcontribute to the leadership of the Operational Resilience teamand lead the delivery of complex prudential policy and regulatory projectsprovidingexpert influential advice to senior decisionmakers. You will apply principles of good regulation to develop highquality policy regulation and legislative proposals while mentoring others and strengthening capability and delivery across the directorate.
In this role you will:
Lead endtoend delivery of complex prudential policy regulatory and legislative projects.
Prepare highquality written analysis papers and recommendations for senior review.
Provideexpert advice to the Board Ministers Committees and senior leaders.
Lead industry and external stakeholder engagement on prudential initiatives.
Coach and mentor team members managing workflow and ensuring quality outputs.
Work with the team manager tosupport leading the work of the team.
Collaborate across the Financial Stability Group and lead crossBank initiatives.
Maintain expert knowledge of prudential requirements and regulatory developments.

To be successful in this role you will bring:
15 years professional experience in public policy regulation financial services or a related field.
Degree in economics finance law or a related discipline.
Deep understanding of the economy financial system and prudential policy settings.
Proventrack recordleading and delivering complex policy or regulatory projects.
Exceptional analytical capability sound judgement and ability to work in novel or ambiguous policy areas.
Strong interpersonal skills with experience influencing senior stakeholders and coaching or mentoring others.
Sound judgement holistic thinking and ability toidentifypolicy-relevant issues.
Demonstrated knowledge and application ofTeTiritio Waitangi.
Eligibility to obtain andmaintaintheappropriate levelof NZ National Security Clearance.
