The Division of Continuing Studies (DCS) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is expanding its use of Salesforce to support new initiatives including the implementation of a new noncredit registration system. We are seeking a Salesforce Admin/Developer to join our CRM team and help lead the transition to a Blackthorn-based Salesforce solution for noncredit course and conference is an exciting opportunity to be the CRM teams first developer bringing technical expertise to enhance our Salesforce capabilities.
In addition to this first project the role may contribute to other Salesforce initiatives across DCS. You will collaborate with stakeholders to configure develop and support Salesforce solutions that enhance the learner experience and meet the evolving business needs of DCS programs.
Designs and implements test plans and prepares systems test data: 5%
Reviews application design specifications codes new applications and makes enhancements to existing applications: 25%
Contributes to the development of data structure and systems performance strategies: 5%
Prepares program documentation and training requirements: 5%
Designs and maintains the Divisions SQL Server data and ETL environment used for analytics and enterprise reporting including schema management data transformation workflows and preparation of datasets for Tableau and other downstream tools: 10%
Conducts analysis for the evaluation and selection of vendor software solutions and packages: 5%
Reviews application modules for quality assurance and checks compliance with application architecture standards: 5%
Conducts systems analysis reviews and interprets system requirements and develops detailed system design specifications for system integration and upgrades: 15%
Develops prepares or modifies technical specifications for complex projects system integrations and upgrades: 15%
Manages integrations between Salesforce CSIS SQL Server and related platforms including monitoring integration performance diagnosing cross-system issues and implementing long-term stability improvements: 10%
