Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Driver Response Patrol in Oregon OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy transportation location you will complete routine patrols and access checks stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to alarms and service requests with clear communication. This post requires an armed guard card/license and a valid drivers license supporting mobile coverage across the site. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal protocols site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a transportation location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating with site contacts and/or local emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities rail yard areas access points and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards.
- Monitor and control access for vehicles and pedestrians verify authorization and follow established procedures for screening visitor management and/or credential checks.
- Complete detailed reports of daily activities incidents and irregular conditions and communicate updates through required channels and systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 2 years law enforcement military police and/or corrections experience.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
