How Youll Make an Impact
As a non-exempt Associate Project Manager at Burwood you will be responsible for facilitating project planning resourcing tasking tracking and administrative activities for both internal and customer-facing engagements. The Associate Project Manager will work closely with multiple teams to enforce management standards to oversee project portfolio performance andto support Technical Leads and Project Managers on larger client engagements. Additionally the Associate Project Manager will help drive internal Burwood initiatives and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiencies. More discreet responsibilities include:
Owns management responsibilities for smaller scale and/or standardized initiatives including the planning and oversight of scope execution.
Supports Project Managers and/or Technical Leads in larger scale initiatives via task coordination project reporting project documentation and meeting scribe.
Tracks status of project tasks schedules and milestones and provides relevant updates to the projectteam.
Handles administrative tasks as necessary on internal and client projects to keep individual contributors focused on productionwork.
Serves as application SME and administrative owner for internal time resource and invoice management system
Fosters communication and transparency amongst all teams involved in the delivery of projects includingclients.
Supports management of Burwood resource pool internal time/invoicing systems and of PMO/DevOps-related initiatives.

Your Core Skills & Certifications
Foundational understanding of project management principles including planning tracking reporting and risk management
Exposure to mergers & acquisitions (M&A) activities particularly in relation to IT integration and project coordination
Technical aptitude with the ability to understand application and platform dependencies across complex environments
Familiarity with project management tools and systems (e.g. resource management time tracking invoicing platforms)
Working knowledge of Agile Waterfall or hybrid methodologies and supporting tools
Experience in a consulting or professional services environment supporting client-facing engagements preferred
Construction experience is a strong preference
Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
