Job Summary

Job Title:Academic Marketing and Communications Assistant
Department:Marketing and Communications
Student Employment Type:Federal Work-Study and Non-Federal Work-Study
Responsibilities:
  • Attract and engage prospective students at each stage of the student journey on their path to enrolling at a Quinnipiac University
  • Helps manages presence on social networking sites e.g. Instagram TikTok and Snapchat
  • Support projects related to admissions and perspective students with minimal supervision
  • Develop write and execute content according to social strategies
  • Research and distribute metrics reporting on content performance engagement and competition
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or required
Qualifications:
  • Strong at working in a fast-paced environment as a team and individual
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva a plus
  • Highly detail oriented and accurate
Hours of Position:
  • On campus up to 20 hours per week. Some nights and weekends
