UW MEDICINE-NORTHWEST OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER has an outstanding opportunity for a part time PSA/PACU day shift REGISTERED NURSE.

WORK SCHEDULE

    DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
    The Registered Nurse is a licensed practitioner who uses the nursing process to provide patient care. This includes exercising independent nursing judgment in managing the care of patients with complex health problem(s) and collaborating with patient family and other healthcare providers/disciplines to optimize the patients return to health and promote independence in self-care. Supervises and coordinates the work of ancillary healthcare personnel.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develops a written plan of care
  • Provides safe therapeutic cost-effective patient care
  • Provides direct patient care to an assigned group of patients
  • Collects records and analyzes assessment data such as patient health data

    REQUIREMENTS
    One year of ICU experience or prior PACU Phase I and Phase 2
    ACLS and PALS required

Compensation Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$45.59 hourly

Pay Range Maximum:

$83.64 hourly

Other Compensation:

$10000 Sign On Bonus $5.00/hr Night Shift $3.00/hr Evening Shift $4.00/hr Weekends $1.00/hr BSN premium $1.25/Hr Nursing Certification pay
