As a Security Officer - Overnight Foot Patrol in Palm Springs CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents and support store teams guests and associates with professional customer service and clear communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents alarms and customer concerns in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales floors common areas back-of-house corridors and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances exits and high-traffic areas assisting with access control observing for suspicious behavior and supporting loss prevention efforts through presence and reporting.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports document security-related activities and incidents and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when requested by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 years of security-related experience.
• A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
