Job Summary

Group Overview:

The Value-Added Services team is responsible for the short and long-term growth of merchant acceptance for Visas existing and new digital products and services. The team achieves success by working with and through acquiring partners key merchant partners and technology firms driving innovation in the marketplace. This Thailand-focused role will require you to work closely with regional Southeast Asia stakeholders.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

What an Acceptance Solutions Sales Engineer does at Visa:

The Acceptance Solutions Sales Engineer is responsible for providing technical and functional expertise across Visas Acceptance Solutions Payments and Fraud Management capabilities. This role is primarily focused on pre-sales consultation solutioning and technical advisory activities. You will engage with clients to understand business processes requirements and pain points and recommend best-in-class payment and fraud prevention strategies.

You will lead technical pre-sales discussions solution design workshops and architectural conversations with prospects and existing clients. The role involves demonstrating how Visa Acceptance Solutions and Integrated Commerce capabilities can be aligned to clients existing business processes and technical environments addressing technical questions and influencing solution decisions.

You will work closely with regional sales teams product teams and other internal stakeholders to support revenue growth. Success in this role is measured by revenue contribution quality of solution design and successful progression of clients through the sales cycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Support tactical and strategic pre-sales plans for new and existing enterprise clients
  • Provide technical functional and subject matter expertise to sales teams
  • Lead technical discovery sessions solution design discussions and architectural reviews
  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for client and partner audiences
  • Support preparation of RFP and RFI responses with technical and solution input
  • Maintain deep technical and functional knowledge of existing and new Acceptance Solutions services
  • Advise on integration approaches at a conceptual and architectural level
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions align with product capabilities
  • Consult with clients on solution and architecture design aligned to business objectives
  • Design and document high-level workflows and solution architectures
  • Develop and deliver customer partner and internal enablement sessions
  • Contribute to corporate knowledge by creating and enhancing pre-sales documentation best practices and solution assets
  • Manage communication and expectations with senior stakeholders during the pre-sales lifecycle

You will work closely with regional sales teams product teams and crossfunctional stakeholders to support revenue growth across Card Present Card Not Present and Integrated Commerce opportunities. Success in this role is measured by contribution to pipeline and revenue growth quality of solution design and the ability to effectively progress clients through the sales cycle.


Qualifications :

What you will need:
Digital / Innovation

  • Strong digital mindset and ability to apply technology knowledge to solve business problems
  • Stay current with innovation digital payment trends and emerging technologies
  • Champion new ideas and challenge the status quo to improve solution outcomes
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and client engagement models

Technical

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in sales engineering technical consulting solution architecture or related roles
  • Strong understanding of SaaS based bankcard acquiring payment gateways payment security and fraud prevention solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Broad technology knowledge including APIs web services and modern application architectures
  • Familiarity with merchant e-commerce platforms storefront and shopping cart technologies
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse globally distributed stakeholders
  • Experience working across Asia Pacific markets particularly Southeast Asia and Thailand
  • Revenue-oriented mindset with comfort operating in growth and greenfield environments
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent required
