Job Summary

Design develop and refine tooling fixtures and equipment to support manufacturing operations
Monitor and evaluate tooling performance identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce operational downtime
Apply Lean Manufacturing techniques (e.g. Kaizen 5S Value Stream Mapping) to improve processes and eliminate waste
Collaborate with production quality and engineering teams to support new product launches and process modifications
Lead troubleshooting and root cause investigations for tooling-related issues implementing effective corrective actions
Ensure tooling meets safety quality and regulatory standards
Manage the full tooling lifecycle including maintenance repairs and replacements
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through innovative tooling solutions and process enhancements
Maintain technical documentation including drawings specifications work instructions and best practices
Evaluate and work with tooling vendors providing guidance on capability quality cost and delivery

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tooling design and manufacturing environments
Proficient in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks CATIA or similar)
Hands-on experience applying Lean Manufacturing tools and continuous improvement strategies
Knowledge of machining processes materials and manufacturing methods
Skilled in root cause analysis techniques (e.g. 8D Fishbone 5 Whys)
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Excellent communication leadership and teamwork skills
