Job Description
Teacher Assistant - (Pre Primary)
The Job Description of a TA (Teaching Assistant) Pre-Primary focuses on supporting the teacher and helping young children (usually ages 25) in a preschool or kindergarten classroom. Here are the main responsibilities:
1. Classroom Support
Assist the main teacher in conducting daily classroom activities.
Help prepare teaching materials such as charts flashcards worksheets and craft items.
Arrange the classroom before and after activities.
2. Child Care and Supervision
Help children with basic needs like eating toileting and washing hands.
Ensure childrens safety during class playtime and outdoor activities.
Comfort and guide children who feel upset or anxious.
3. Activity Assistance
Support children during activities like:
Storytelling
Rhymes and songs
Drawing and coloring
Play-based learning
Encourage participation and positive behavior.
4. Classroom Management
Help maintain discipline in a gentle and positive way.
Keep the classroom clean organized and child-friendly.
Assist in managing small groups of children.
