Position: Material Handler Company: Msuez Uk Location: Johannesburg South Africa Contract Details: Full-time Msuez Uk is a leading materials management company in South Africa providing innovative solutions for the handling storage and distribution of materials. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Material Handler to join our team in Johannesburg. As a Material Handler you will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials within our facility. Your main duties will include loading and unloading materials operating forklifts and other equipment and maintaining inventory records. You will also be responsible for ensuring that materials are stored in the correct locations and that all safety protocols are followed. Key Responsibilities: - Load and unload materials from trucks trains and other modes of transportation - Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials within the facility - Organize and store materials in designated locations - Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies - Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment - Communicate with other team members to coordinate material movements - Inspect materials for damage or defects and report any issues to the appropriate personnel - Keep work area clean and organized at all times - Assist with other tasks as needed to support the efficient operation of the facility Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role - Valid forklift certification - Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures - Ability to lift and move heavy materials - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines - Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed We offer a competitive salary and benefits package as well as opportunities for growth and development within our company.
