Job Summary
Join a dynamic team shaping the future of construction! Youll ensure every material from concrete to advanced composites is tested accurately to drive innovation
Job Description:
- Prepare cast and cure test specimens with precision
- Conduct standard and advanced destructive tests on concrete composites and steel
- Support R&D engineers with prototype assembly and load testing
- Capture report and visually document test results accurately
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment; manage materials inventory
- Ensure strict lab safety and quality standards are upheld
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 13 years hands-on experience in a materials lab.
- Familiarity with SANS ASTM or ISO testing standards.
- Strong organization precision and practical hands-on mindset.
- Preferred: Experience with fibre-reinforced concrete or polymer composites and hydraulic testing equipment.
Qualification:
- National Diploma BTech or BSc in Civil Engineering Material Science
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered
