Key Responsibilities
Deliver enterprise-wide solutions that promote flexibility scalability and high performance for millions of users
Collaborate across product teams to build on a world-class platform and shared services suite of solutions
Lead architecture design implementation and operation of large-scale cloud-based services
Independently drive requirements and take ownership of major components within platform and shared services systems throughout their lifecycle
Participate in requirement discussions gathering and analysis to ensure clarity and alignment
Lead design implementation testing deployment and production support
Exhibit strong technical leadership and communication skills to guide teams and stakeholders
Define and execute engineering roadmap initiatives within an agile application development environment
What Were Looking For
MustHave Skills
10 years of experience in server-side development
Expertise in GoLang REST/JSON APIs Linux.
Experience with containers and deploying them in Kubernetes.
Strong Object-Oriented Analysis and design concepts.
Good understanding of Relational and Timeseries databases.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana Prometheus and Splunk
Exposure to modern DevOps methodologies with CI/CD pipelines.
Proven hands-on expertise in developing software in an Agile manner.
Experience with scalability/high availability and distributed data services.
Experience building deploying and monitoring large scale cloud services. AWS preferred.
Ownership of high value product features and technical initiatives.
Ability to act independently as a lead on complex projects and collaborate with the team.
Excellent communication skills.
Collaborative mindset with ability to contribute to a positive team culture
Share knowledge with the team both formally and informally.
Ready to adapt and contribute across the wider team as needed.
Provide mentoring and thought leadership to other team members.
Nice to Have
Experience with additional programming languages (e.g. Python Java or C)
Familiarity with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies
Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
Exposure to multi-cloud platforms (Azure GCP) beyond AWS
Hands-on experience with advanced monitoring/observability tools (e.g. Datadog ELK stack)
Background in performance tuning and optimization for distributed systems
Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in developer communities
Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading small technical teams
Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g. GDPR SOC2)
Ability to work effectively in a global multicultural team environment
