Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse Operating Room (Circulator)
Location: Morristown VT
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule Options:
Day & Evening Shifts Available
Schedule Options:
4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM 6:30 PM)
5x8-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM 3:30 PM 9:00 AM 5:30 PM or 10:00 AM 6:30 PM)
On-Call Requirements:
Once per week
Every 5th weekend
Compensation:
Weekly Gross Pay: $2200 $2800 (based on experience)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in the Operating Room to serve as a Circulating Nurse. This role involves providing perioperative nursing care and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide perioperative nursing care as an Operating Room Circulator
Deliver patient care before during and after surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists and surgical staff to ensure optimal outcomes
Maintain patient safety and adherence to sterile techniques
Follow established nursing standards policies and regulatory requirements
Document patient care accurately and timely
Required Certifications & Licensure:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (state license required upon acceptance)
Certifications Required:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
Required Experience:
Less than 1 year of experience accepted
Specialty Requirements:
Primary: Operating Room RN
Sub-Specialty: Circulating Nurse
Key Skills:
Knowledge of perioperative nursing practices
Strong attention to detail and patient safety
Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
Effective teamwork and communication skills
Work Environment:
Operating Room setting
Requires flexibility for varied shifts and on-call coverage
