Lettings Property Manager - Kenilworth - up to 30k

My client is a leading multi branch Lettings and Estate Agent who have been established for many years in the area. Due to continued growth in their Lettings department they are looking for an experienced Lettings Property Manager to join their team in Kenilworth.

As a Property Manager you will have responsibility for a portfolio of managed properties and your duties will include pro-active and reactive maintenance property inspections organisation of safety certificates relationship building with tenants and Landlords and much more. The role will involve out of office appointments inspecting the condition of managed properties checking in new tenants and checking out old tenants so the successful applicant must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Main Duties to include:

  • Managing a portfolio of properties
  • Communicate with Landlords / Tenants / Contractors regarding property maintenance works
  • Arranging and carrying out property inspections and reporting back to Landlords with feedback
  • Ensure all legal compliances are up to date
  • Renewals and producing tenancy agreements
  • Liaise with tenant and landlord following the end of tenancy
  • Communicating with utility companies and council at start and end of tenancy
  • Resolving Landlord and Tenant enquiries

Essential Skills required for the Lettings Property Manager role:

  • Property management experience
  • An analytical person who can communicate well with Landlords and Tenants
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to work closely with a team to ensure that you provide excellent customer service
  • Strong Organisational Skills
  • Quick learner who thrives on attention to detail
  • Driven and a real desire to succeed - Ability to demonstrate initiative and self-motivation
  • Proven Leader with excellent problem-solving capability
  • Polished & Well Presented
  • Genuine interest in property and people
  • Full UK driving licence and car
