Opportunity for a Lettings Negotiator to join a thriving estate & lettings agency: show properties negotiate property lettings build relationships with landlords and tenants and deliver excellent service within a busy residential agency environment in Hitchin.

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Lettings Negotiator to join a professional estate agency team based in Hitchin.

This role involves managing the lettings process from initial enquiry through to move-in while maintaining strong relationships with landlords and tenants. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team and contribute to the continued success of the branch through high standards of service and communication.

What Youll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

• Registering applicants and matching them to suitable rental properties
• Arranging and conducting property viewings
• Negotiating tenancy terms between landlords and tenants
• Building and maintaining relationships with landlords and applicants
• Generating new business opportunities where possible
• Managing the lettings process from enquiry to move-in
• Liaising with landlords tenants and contractors
• Keeping CRM systems updated with accurate records
• Providing regular feedback to landlords
• Ensuring compliance with current lettings legislation and procedures

What Were Looking For (Skills & Experience):

• Previous residential lettings experience essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of customer service and client care
• Professional and well-presented approach
• Confident telephone manner
• Organised with good attention to detail
• Knowledge of the Hitchin area preferred
• Positive attitude and ability to work within a team
• Full UK driving licence required
