EMEAC Regional Marketing Lead (Prescription Dermatology Portfolio)

Job Description

As the EMEAC Regional Marketing Lead (Prescription Dermatology Portfolio) you are responsible to build and execute successful lifecycle management initiatives for our inline prescription portfolio as well as critical initiatives for our biologics franchise. You are among others in charge of the sales and market analysis & follow-ups as well as for the implementation of the cross-market product activities and brand activation (material development congresses etc) to increase market share. You contribute to develop and catalyze our integrated dermatology (Rx Cx Ax) strategies for the portfolio lead multidisciplinary projects and build a strong collaboration model with EMEAC markets. Your portfolio consists of a wide range of Inline Prescription brands as well as our newest franchise in biologics across 4 major disease areas.

This position reports to the EMEAC Therapeutic Dermatology (TD) Regional Business Unit Head

Duties & Responsibilities (not exhaustive)

A. Performance targets

  • Align with EMEAC TD RBU Head on annual critical objectives and KPIs as well regional projects to be implemented to drive inline & biologics business growth
  • Develop ideas and proposals to grow and sustain the TD business (Inline Prescription & Biologics portfolio) and challenge the status quo
  • Take part in relevant congress and industry events to remain close to our customers
  • Work efficiently and pro-actively with key internal stakeholders (country / cluster Marketing & Sales Teams) to ensure solid execution of marketing activities and regionally drive initiatives
  • Collaborate with local markets & build regional marketing plans incorporating local market and business needs
  • Develop and implement a regional cross-functional plan based on brand strategies delivered by Global; collaborate with markets to capture local nuances to plan
  • Drive regional processes in alignment with global and regional expectations (i.e. annual brand plans mid range plans reporting business cases decisions which need Sr. Leadership endorsement)
  • Drive continued profitability through portfolio rationalization and high impact value creation initiatives

B. Monitor Analyse & Manage

  • Monitor the market regulatory or HCP trends/needs; stay up-to-date with market trends treatment guidelines and competitor activities to ensure a competitive positioning
  • Manage Regional Marketing investment buy up opportunity matrix with RBU Head
  • Monitor key performance indicators analyze market trends and identify potential risks or opportunities making necessary adjustments to optimize the launch strategy.
  • Analyse Monthly & Quarterly Rx performance and lead the performance review with the markets; compile overview for leadership team

C. General Company Standards

  • Project a professional and elegant impression of the Company by having a high standard of personal presentation
  • Adhere to all company policies procedures and business ethic codes
  • Comply with the procedures and legal obligations (sample administration adverse effects and product complaints etc)
  • Report adverse events and complaints according to procedure to internal RA/Medical Team

Minimum Requirements

  • Passion for Dermatology
  • Degree in Marketing (business degree is preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing and Sales in pharmaceutical industry
  • Knowledge of digital tools and Social Media strategy
  • Experience in sales is preferable
  • Strategic thinker and is able to deliver key strategies to implementation
  • Business acumen / commercial mindset; entrepreneur style
  • Business planning and organizational skills; Strong ability to analyze and synthesize multiple forms of data and decipher the so what and related actions
  • Excellent leadership communication and analytical skills
  • Computer: Microsoft Office Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint
  • Able to travel (as needed) and work in a global team of professionals
  • Flexibility resilience under pressure and with a strong sense of accountability
  • Strong internal and external Stakeholder Collaboration influence and engagement
  • Able to work well under ambiguity/ pressure and able to bring clarity for teams through clear and simple communication
