Job Summary
Travel Surgical Technologist (OR General Surgery)
Location: Falmouth MA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 hrs/week Day Shift (8-hr rotating)
Shift Times: 7:15 AM 3:45 PM or 9:30 AM 6:00 PM
Pay: $2361/week (Gross)
Job Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to assist in Operating Room procedures in a fast-paced environment while maintaining sterile and safe conditions.
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain OR instruments equipment and sterile field
Assist surgeons during procedures (pass instruments supplies)
Perform surgical counts (sponges needles instruments)
Handle and label specimens
Assist with patient positioning and prep
Support post-procedure care and dressings
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment
Assist with room turnover and restocking
Follow infection control (AORN standards)
Work collaboratively with surgical team
Requirements
Graduate of accredited Surgical Tech program
BLS certification required
NBSTSA certification (or within 12 months)
OR experience preferred
Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and instrumentation
Team-oriented with good communication skills
Ortho experience preferred
