Job Summary
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Radiographer
Location: Elmhurst NY 11373
Work Schedule: 5 8-hour shifts 37.5 hours per week
Duration: Contract
Available Shifts
10:00 AM 6:00 PM
4:00 PM 12:00 AM
12:00 AM 8:00 AM
Weekends and holidays may be required.
Compensation
Travelers: $70/hour
Local Candidates: $60/hour
Position Overview
A healthcare facility in Elmhurst NY is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist (Radiographer) to join the Diagnostic Radiology department.
The technologist will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring high-quality imaging patient safety and compliance with clinical protocols in an acute care environment.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience as a General Radiographer
Acute care experience preferred
Ability to perform diagnostic imaging procedures while maintaining patient safety and imaging quality standards.
Education Requirements
Completion of an approved Radiologic Technologist training program
Military training programs are acceptable if applicable.
Required Certifications & Licensure
ARRT Certification American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Valid New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) Radiologic Technologist License

Training: 2 weeks
Schedule: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Includes EPIC system training
