Dietician job in Toledo Ohio.
What Youll Do
- Develops evaluates and implements regular modified and therapeutic diets in accordance with state and federal regulations treatment plans and accreditation standards.
- Conducts nutrition assessments including reviewing medical charts consulting with direct care staff and interviewing patients regarding dietary preferences allergies or digestion issues.
- Maintains accurate dietary and nutrition records including patient charts census sheets treatment plans and required reports.
- Provides nutrition education and training for clients and staff including in-service programs and team meetings.
- Participates in interdisciplinary meetings and facility committees to support comprehensive care and nutrition-related initiatives.
What Youll Need
- Bachelors Degree
- Current licensure as dietitian as issued by Ohio Board of Dietetics per Section 4759.06 of Revised Code. If employed at Ohio Veterans Home must also have 1-year supervisory experience in dietetic service of health care institution & participate annually in continuing dietetic education.
