Purpose of the job:

The Manager Global Compensation is responsible for designing implementing and managing competitive equitable and compliant compensation programs across multiple regions. This role partners closely with HR Business Partners Finance and senior leadership to ensure compensation strategies support business objectives talent attraction and retention while aligning with global market practices and local regulations.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain global compensation frameworks including job architecture salary bands
  • Ensure compensation programs align with strategy performance philosophy and internal equity
  • Lead annual compensation cycles (merit increases bonuses promotions market adjustments)
  • Manage external survey data and internal analytics
  • Evaluate and recommend adjustments based on market competitiveness and internal parity
  • Partner with Finance to model accruals and budget impacts
  • Ensure compensation programs comply with local labor laws tax regulations and pay transparency requirements
  • Establish global compensation standards while allowing for regional flexibility
  • Support audits and regulatory reporting related to compensation
  • Act as a trusted advisor to HR Business Partners and business leaders on compensation decisions
  • Provide guidance on offers promotions international assignments and restructuring activities
  • Analyze trends related to pay equity compression and workforce cost
  • Support pay equity analyses and remediation planning
  • Continuously assess and improve compensation processes for scalability and efficiency
  • Stay current on global compensation trends and best practices

Educational requirements/qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Human Resources Finance Business Economics or a related field
  • 5 years of progressive compensation or total rewards experience including global scope
  • Strong knowledge of global compensation practices and regional labor markets
  • Experience managing annual compensation cycles in a multinational organization
  • Advanced analytical and Excel skills; experience with HRIS (Successfactors preferred) and compensation tools
