The Role

The school is looking for a motivated and forward-thinking 2iC Science who can support the strategic and operational leadership of the department while maintaining excellent classroom practice.

Key responsibilities of the 2iC Science include:

• Supporting the Head of Science in leading the department across KS3KS5

• Teaching Science with specialism in Biology Chemistry or Physics

• Assisting with curriculum development assessment and quality of teaching

• Monitoring student progress and implementing strategies to raise attainment

• Mentoring and supporting teachers including ECTs within the department

• Contributing to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
