Responsibilities of the Head of Chemistry include:

• Leading the development of Chemistry across KS3KS5

• Teaching Chemistry to GCSE and A-Level students

• Driving curriculum development assessment and departmental strategy

• Supporting and mentoring colleagues within the Science department

• Monitoring student progress and implementing strategies to raise attainment

• Contributing to enrichment activities such as STEM clubs competitions and trips
