The school is seeking an experienced and strategic School Business Manager (SBM) to lead on financial operational and administrative functions. This is a senior leadership role working closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to ensure the school operates efficiently and effectively.
You will play a key role in managing budgets overseeing support services and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The role requires strong financial acumen leadership skills and the ability to contribute to strategic planning.
Lead on financial management including budgeting forecasting and monitoring expenditure
Oversee HR functions including recruitment contracts and staff development processes
Manage school operations including administration site and support services
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and statutory requirements
Oversee procurement and contract management
Support strategic planning and school improvement initiatives
Manage risk health and safety and compliance
Report to governors and senior leaders on financial and operational matters
Ensure efficient use of resources across the school
Contribute to long-term sustainability and development planning
